Energetikai és Távközlési Hálózatépítő és Szerelő [Energy and Telecommunications Network Construction and Maintenance] Kft. was created on January 1, 2003 via the merger of several network maintenance companies owned by the electricity suppliers. The new company is a member of the E.ON Hungária Group.
EH-SZER Kft. is a medium-sized electric network maintenance company that operates in three different regions, providing services in the supply areas of the E.ON Group's E.ON North-Transdanubian Electricity Supply Zrt., E.ON South-Transdanubian Electricity Supply Zrt., and E.ON East Hungarian Electricity Supply Zrt. in particular. In addition, the company performs tasks both in other regions of the country and abroad in Central and Eastern Europe.
The company's primary responsibilities include the installation of electricity transmission and distribution networks; the installation of electricity distribution equipment, overhead transmission lines and cables, and underground cables and their parts; the technological installation of electrical substations and distribution stations; the installation and maintenance of public lighting and area lighting equipment; the maintenance and renovation of electrical utility equipment, and high-voltage planning.
