Our CSR Projects
Camp Courage Foundation
E.ON Hungária has given tens of millions of forints to the Camp Courage Foundation, which helps to rehabilitate seriously ill and convalescing children. In addition to financial support, the company organizes handicraft workshops for the campers and their parents, as well as Santa Claus Day matinees for the children. Our employees also contributed to the construction of the E.ON Adventure Park, which opened in the camp in the summer of 2008.
E.ON Hungária has given tens of millions of forints over the past few years to the Camp Courage Foundation, which helps to rehabilitate seriously ill and convalescing children. E.ON also supported the construction of an indoor sports hall, a football pitch and the therapeutic high ropes course opened in 2008, which is unique in Hungary. Volunteer E.ON employees played a major role in building the course.
Our annual creative workshops held in late November to prepare for the Christmas season have become a tradition, with E.ON welcoming campers, their parents and friends on its premises in Budapest and elsewhere in the country. Another tradition is the Santa Claus Day concert at the Academy of Music, where the academy's artists and students perform for the children. The audience includes children from the camp and their parents, the Foundation's ambassadors (Antónia Erős, Szonja Oroszlán and Péter Novák), well known public figures, famous personalities who agree with the Foundation's goals, including Gabriella Jakupcsek and Adél Kováts, as well as the managers, employees and guests of E.ON Hungária Zrt – and, of course, Santa Claus, who hands out gifts to the children in attendance.
