The E.ON Group has been sponsoring one of Hungary’s truly great festivals, the Veszprém Festival, since 2004 and as main sponsor since 2009. This program series was held at the end of July this year within the walls of the thousand-year old city.
Right from the start, E.ON has been focusing a great deal of attention on the Centre for Modern and Contemporary Art (MODEM), which opened to the public in autumn 2006. MODEM is one of the largest art galleries in the country and the greater region and very likely the most modern one.
E.ON has been a committed sponsor of the Győr Ballet, the nationally and internationally renowned dance troupe led by János Kiss, since 1995.
E.ON devotes particular attention to supporting the Ballet Pécs.
E.ON believes it is important to support today’s creative artists, that is, contemporary art.
E.ON plays an active role in making the Heritage Festival – Pécs Days happen.
For many years now, E.ON has been supporting the Flower Carnival, which is the biggest event in Debrecen and one of Hungary’s best known attractions.
The festival, which has some real treats in store for its visitors, is one of southwestern Hungary’s newest gems.
E.ON’s most recent sponsorship project is the City of Painters Festival in southwestern Hungary.
E.ON believes it is extremely important to support culture and help provide the next generation with a cultural education.
