Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music

E.ON Hungária has maintained a long-term, close cooperation with the Academy, its teachers and students.

Since E.ON devotes special attention to classical music, it is evident, that we are partners of the world class music institution, the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.

The Academy was first established by the composer, Ferenc Liszt in 1875, and its mission is still based upon the principles and traditions of its founders. The highly qualified teachers of the institution are working for a deep understanding of both national and universal culture, especially with respect to the art of music, and a broad-minded and relevant musical experience with a high level of professional knowledge.

The company is sponsoring concerts and performances of students and artists of the Academy of Music – held either in the beautiful, old central building of the Academy, or in other concert locations in Hungary or abroad.

One of the traditional Music Academy – E.ON concerts is the Santa Claus Concert every year on the 6th of December, which is held for children in bad health or social situation.

Through the cooperation with the Friendship Circle of the Music Academy, E.ON Hungária is helping the most talented students of the Academy in developing their knowledge, and taking part in international competitions and concerts.
