Cooperation with the University of Pécs
E.ON and the University of Pécs, the biggest university in southwestern Hungary, have pledged mutual assistance to one another.
E.ON is announcing research grants for groups made up of university instructors, researchers and students. The research grants are intended to help the recipients carry out scientific work that will help solve common issues in the business world.
In order to promote innovation, the company is engaged in direct cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering and takes part in research programs requiring the involvement of industrial companies.
In order to help train future professionals, the company has established a one-year scholarship, which is awarded to two students every year, and provides educational opportunities for the university’s students that will give them the chance to familiarize themselves with the company’s cutting-edge SAP-based IT system.
