Cooperation with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics
E.ON has a long-term cooperation agreement with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
Under the agreement, which represents a domestic milestone in E.ON's international higher education support scheme, the company offers targeted aid for technical education and engineer training in Hungary in the form of scholarships and project grants, and it also provides financing for a great many other programs. The purpose of the agreement is to keep the technical training of Hungarian professionals at the cutting edge of international technical education and to create opportunities for Hungarian engineers within E.ON.
The complex agreement made with BME is a fine local example of the large-scale cooperation E.ON has with internationally acknowledged technical universities and colleges across Europe. E.ON’s local role and international character offer numerous opportunities to students, teachers and university research projects alike. The company is offering employment to an increasing number of highly qualified engineers both locally and internationally, and it is seeking increasingly greater numbers of talented university researchers throughout the world.
